Sometimes, it’s nice to take some distance and get lost into new places where anybody judges you, no listen, no see you. Places where we reconnect with the earth force and the absolute power.  Our choice? The dusty ways that deep into infinite sands of the desert.

The desert turns us into nomad people.

It let us to see the horizon where our presence is getting smaller but both unique and timeless. We get there though a space spattered of palm trees. Between the locals is said that “the palm trees use to have the head in the fire and the feet into the water” and with this sentence at mind we start our adventure.

STRIPED FABRIC / Volpi Collection

Nomad - Misako SS19
Velpi cross body bag mixed in fabric and leatherette.

We get to the final destination with the most authentic pieces of our collection, to shape our style that melts with the landscape.

Striped fabrics with textures and natural colours are our first choice.

We launch Volpi Collection with some outfits with these amazing accessories in raw and black colour, the king colours of this Spring season.

The serious black and the brightness of the raw colour are always the essentials for those colourful months fill up our wardrobe.

Volpi Collection we not only did find it in cross-body bags neither handbags, it’s also present in XXL format, breathing life to one of the most successful travel bags of this season and in the youngest format of the moment: the bum bag.

JACQUARD AND TAPESTRY FABRICS / Vikys Collection

Nomad - Misako SS19
Vikys cross-body bag.

As a result of looms from bygone times, the fabric of the Vikys Collection invites you to combine it with wide linen trousers and floaty shirts. Playing with colours such as ochre, blue indigo and crude and made with a thick and strong thread, evoke us of these kilims carpets present in all homes around the world.

MULTICOLOR BRAIDED / Tyra & Tanita Collection

Nomad - Misako SS19
Cross body bag Tanita in blue and green. Also available in black and pink.

Another of the proposals designed for the Nomad line is the multicolored fabric that carry us away directly to the braided raffia of the 70s.

In this way, we find the Collection Tyra and Tanita that plays with blue and green shades and also available in pink and black.

This trend halfway between the raffia and the city bag is one that has been imposed on the streets of the West, allowing an eclectic touch to minimalist and formal outfits.

HANDMADE BRAIDED / Uliana & Ura

Nomad - Misako SS19
Backpack Ura also available in camel and back.

Another great theme to share with the backdrop of the desert and the palm trees are the accessories with braids. These details are born of the desire to reproduce the good work of the leather craftsmen of the area. Ura backpack is a perfect example, because with its great capacity, its details in flap and pom-poms, it seems just come out of the workshop of a master of the Souk.

ACCESSORIES THAT ENHANCES THE NOMAD SPIRIT / sunglasses, hankies, jewelry…

Nomad - Misako SS19
Horn-rimmed sunglasses in nacre colour Andrea. Hanky Urbe.

The final point to these outfits that invite to go for a trip and the discovery is found in the details of the small accessories. The most essential for this Collection are the sunglasses in which we can choose between sober, elegant and eccentric frames to protect and give some fantasy our look.

The hanky also becomes a primordial element in our visit through the desert. Foulards and bandanas come with us to give that touch of colour and both protect the skin from the extreme external agents that reign in these landscapes.

At the end of the day, we let our steps take place until the sun barely accompanies us.

It’s time to go back where we came from, accommodate everything in globetrotting bags and leave behind our anecdotic presence in the stunning landscape.

Past traces are scarcely marked and our nomadic footsteps blur a path impossible to retrace.
